Testimonials

"I have finally found THE perfect baby bottle! The mimijumi. I am a breastfeeding momma. I have nursed all of my children but at some point, the 3 older ones received formula...My youngest child (8 months) has never shown the slightest interest in any sort of baby bottle... I have had the awesome opportunity to review one of these amazing 8 oz. breast-like bottles. And a huge wave of relief has washed over me because she likes it! She really likes it! My baby girl took to the bottle very quickly and I've not had a bit of trouble getting her to take it since. She still won't touch the others."

"Even though my youngest son is still breastfeeding, I do occasionally pump milk for him to drink while I'm out. The problem for us, lies with the bottle – he hates them all and won't take anymore than a couple ounces from one. So, when I saw the mimijumi, I thought it could be a good fit for us. It's neat design features natural colors, textures and forms. From the minute we opened the box my guy was interested. Once filled, I was happy that it didn't leak and gave it to him. The first few times he tried it he got frustrated. Widening the hole on the nipple seemed to fix this. I like the design of this bottle. It offers features that are simple, yet effective. Mimijumi's team is composed of designers, mothers, nurses, physicians, and lactation specialists."

"This bottle not only resembles the feeding supply our 1 year old was completely satisfied by for his entire life (until last month), but it also has a skid free base, wide open mouth and helps create changing from breast to bottle an easy transition. He absolutely loved it and even asks for it now! I give this new "Very Hungry" bottle a two thumbs up on the One Bored Mommy scale of approval."

"The package made me think, wow these are people who thought about this, a lot. It's bright. It's fun, see the little personified milk drop? Love it. If this much care was put into the packaging, what is this bottle like? It's great. This nipple looks like a nipple. The texture is completely breast like, different on the "mound" then on the nipple. It's soft. Boobs are soft! I mean this doesn't feel at all like you are touching silicone but it is indeed high quality food and medical grade silicone. It's the color of flesh, reminding me of Silly Putty in a really good way. I could seriously go on and on about this nipple, I love it...It has a really wide neck which was great because I didn't spill my precious pumped milk all over the counter. Usually I'm doing this one handed. Baby in one hand, pumped milk in the other. With the "regular" bottle size I always spill a bit. That matters a lot when you are a breastfeeding mama cause pumping your milk out is pretty much like pumping liquid gold. *...We love this bottle and we are not the only ones."

"My baby will NOT take the bottle for the life of her. Since she nurses at the breast, it's really not a major issue that she doesn't take the bottle, but I also want to be able to sleep through the night. It would be great for my husband to experience the bonding that a mother and baby gets during feeding times, and for that to happen, the baby needs to take the bottle.

We have a whole container filled with new bottles that are just sitting there because my baby absolutely hates them. She automatically recognizes that they are artificial and wants nothing to do with them. I will continue to nurse her until she is over a year old, but I would love for her to take a bottle, for occasional times, when I would like to run an errand sans baby.

With amazing baby products on the market, I knew there had to be a bottle that would mimic the breast. And guess what? I found it. mimijumi's –the Very Hungry bottle– is the closest experience a baby will get to breastfeeding. Of course, the first time, I put it up to my baby's lips, she tilted her head backwards and stared at it for a moment. After the initial introduction, I continued to slip it in her mouth, and she actually took it for about 30 seconds. With my baby, that is a miracle! "

"Thank you so much for sending the fabulous bottle for my baby boy! As a breastfeeding mom, sometimes I feel guilty giving him a bottle but the mimijumi bottle makes him feel like he is nursing."

"Gibson usually doesn't like bottles, she prefers breastfeeding (and she does not take bottles from me at all) but latched on great to your bottle. It was unbelievable! I am just happy that she takes your bottle from me!"

"Miller took the bottle like a champ. No refusal, no resistance... only a confused look on his face while my mother fed him as if to say, YOU can do this too?? Love the packaging. It's nice to see something chic instead of pastel and babyish, even if it is a baby product."

"My 5 1/2 month old son WOULD NOT take any bottle. We tried expensive ones and cheap ones he wanted no part of any bottle. It got to the point where he would just open his mouth wide when we tried to give him a bottle and he would scream around the bottle. Me being a working Mom and taking Elijah, my 5 month old, to work with me all the time is becoming a little overwhelming. Tonight my husband called me when I was at work to say "Elijah is crying. He still will not take a bottle. You have to come home now." So I rushed home and decided to give the mimijumi bottle that we got on Thursday a shot. I warmed the breast milk and even ran the nipple of the bottle under hot water so it would be more like skin temp and Elijah downed 3 oz. of milk in less than 3 min. It was like a miracle. I finally feel like I might get a little freedom back."

"My mom gave my son the mimijumi bottle on Saturday when I was gone - she said that he liked it better than he likes the Dr. Browns bottles that we typically use. Mom said that she first gave it to him with water in it, and he started sucking on it right away and seemed to like it. The bottle was very easy to clean (not a lot of parts which is nice), and it is also fairly light weight which I like. I definitely give the mimijumi bottle a positive rating! Thank you so much!"
